About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Painter to join our team. The Painter will be responsible for applying paint, varnishes, and other finishes to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces. This role requires precision, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to deliver high-quality work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for painting by washing, scraping, sanding, and applying primer.
- Select and mix paints to achieve the desired color and consistency.
- Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.
- Cover surfaces with cloth or plastic to protect furniture and flooring.
- Repair holes, cracks, and other defects in walls and surfaces.
- Clean up work areas and equipment after each job.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and company standards.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a painter or in a similar role.
- Knowledge of painting techniques and materials.
- Attention to detail and high-quality workmanship.
- Physical stamina and the ability to work at heights.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification or vocational training in painting or a related field.
- Familiarity with different types of paints and finishes.
- Experience with both residential and commercial painting projects.
