Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Plumber to join our team for civil projects. The Plumber will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems and fixtures in large-scale civil construction projects. This includes water supply networks, waste management systems, and related infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of plumbing systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fittings, fixtures, water heaters, and water and drainage systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout of plumbing systems and materials required.
- Inspect and test plumbing systems for leaks and other issues using air and water pressure gauges.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals such as electricians, HVAC technicians, and construction managers to ensure coordinated efforts on site.
- Ensure all plumbing work complies with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations.
- Perform scheduled maintenance and troubleshooting on existing plumbing systems.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including materials used and time spent on tasks.
- Follow project timelines and meet deadlines to ensure timely completion of plumbing tasks.
- Participate in on-site safety meetings and adhere to safety protocols at all times.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior plumbers and apprentices as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a plumber in civil construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, materials, and installation techniques.
- Proficiency in using plumbing tools and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Physical stamina and ability to work in various environmental conditions.
- Relevant certification or plumbing license.

- Experience with large-scale infrastructure projects.

Education and Experience:
